Meet the Neonode Embedded Software Team

We had the opportunity to have a little chat with three members of Neonode's embedded software team. We talked about what attracted them to Neonode and what they most enjoy about working here, to know more just read excerpts of the chat below.

What made you guys decide to come and work for Neonode?

Roger: I was attracted to the entrepreneurial atmosphere, the high ambitions to really make a difference in the world. We are a small team, which allows me to participate in a wide range of different tasks and provides opportunities for personal growth.

What is your impression of Neonode as a workplace?

Charlotte: Neonode is a company with high ceilings and short decision paths. Everyone here is friendly, supportive and happy to lend a hand. Innovation permeates the culture here in everything we do. I really appreciate Neonode’s 80/20 policy, that allocates 80% of our time towards project work and 20% towards line work.

Urban: I am happy and grateful to be part of Neonode. For me, it’s important to feel that our work is meaningful, that we are involved and contribute to a better world. I am proud of the solutions we develop using our contactless touch technology to combat Covid-19 and reduce the spread of viruses.

What are you working on right now?

Urban: We are working on a new firmware platform that will be used in all our sensors for contactless touch. The new platform will enable us to develop many new products and features, and it will make the source code easier to maintain.
