About the Job
As the Accounting Manager, you will lead a team of three people located in Östermalm and San José, USA. You will be responsible for leading and participating in daily accounting work and reporting according to US GAAP and SEC regulations. This role is crucial in ensuring the financial health and compliance of Neonode. You will report to the CFO. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team and handle monthly and annual closing tasks
• Manage external reporting and prepare annual reports.
• Supervise financial analysis, plan and forecast cash flows.
• Prepare tax returns, review transactions, and design internal controls.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, accounting or finance.
• At least 10 years’ experience in accounting and finance.
• Comprehensive knowledge of international and local accounting standards, including IFRS and K3.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office 365 and especially Excel.

Great to Have

• Solid understanding of US GAAP and knowledge of SOX.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or similar ERP systems.
